Problem with PMP Prep Courses

In industry, these PMP prep courses are undertaken in 3 or 4 consecutive days, while each session spans over 8 hours. That means 24 or 32 hours of Project Management knowledge in a series of 3 or 4 days continuously.

Problem with such training structure is that information is bombarded on participants. Since the participants of course assumingly do not know the project management concepts beforehand, that worsens the situation.

How We Solved The Problem?

We broke down whole PMP preparation knowledge base into 10 episodes, each episode worth 4 hours. After every 2 episodes, we take 6 days off and meet again on same days next weekend. This gives participants a complete week to absorb the information delivered in current week. They are also encouraged to revise the video recording and presentation slides before next episode. We do 40 hours, not 24 or 32.
